High-Vibe Valentine's Day

Lauren Silva

Energy is in and around us all the time. From the air to the flowers, to the food we eat, everything is buzzing to a unique frequency contributing to the overall energy field that connects us all.

Dating all the way back to the time of the Ancient Greeks, the idea that the earth’s energy affects everything (us, the plants, the animals, and overall health) has guided the way we cook and consume our food. For this reason, people learned to include foods with a higher energy vibration to enhance their own energy vibration. In essence, humans figured out that a higher personal energy vibration equated to a healthier, happier life. At DEFINE foods, we want to ensure that we’re fueling our bodies in a way to keep us being our best selves, which means we definitely incorporate this method of cooking and consuming high-vibrational foods.

High-Vibrational Foods

Food in its most natural form (ie. picked from the tree, organic, unprocessed) will yield the highest vibration. These foods get their energy, taste, and quality from the sun and are extremely rich in minerals and vitamins. Aside from colorful fruits and vegetables, there are several others foods to be included in your diet for a higher vibration:

  • Herbs and spices
  • Herbal teas
  • Healthy oils (think olive oil and avocado oil!)
  • Filtered water
  • Fermented foods
  • Raw honey
  • Legumes
  • Grains like buckwheat, brown rice, and quinoa

And of course, natural supplements (or adaptogens!) like maca and cacao.

Up Your Vibe With Adaptogens

Maca and cacao are two adaptogens that we love at DEFINE foods. We use both in our Superfood Truffles as they each provide an array of health benefits (while simultaneously increasing our vibrational energy), but you may be unfamiliar with why exactly these specific supplements could help you achieve the High-Vibe Valentine’s Day you were looking for.

Maca is a supplement known to balance hormones and invigorate the mind and body. Typically found in powdered form, this adaptogen has been used since ancient peruvian times to enhance energy, nourish the adrenals, and provide PMS relief. Not only that, but maca is extremely useful in building stamina and boosting your libido. In respect to this upcoming Valentine’s Day, it’s no wonder maca serves as one of the stars of our Superfood Truffle Gift box.

Cacao, on the other hand, pairs perfectly with the benefits offered by maca. Known for its ability to energize and boost your “feel-good” endorphins, this adaptogen is full of nutrients and vitamins like magnesium, antioxidants, and iron. Oh, and don’t forget, cacao is the raw form of chocolate so you know it tastes great.

Valentine’s Day is all about love… and chocolate so indulge in the kind of high-vibrational chocolate box you can feel good about. Our healthy + sexy Superfood Truffles offer sustained energy, an increased libido, and a healthy dose of feel-good endorphins that will give you the high-vibe Valentine’s Day you’ve been waiting for.
